Movie Summarize:

Fifteen years have passed, and Rakesh and Bheemmi haven't deceived anyone with their fake jewelry and trinkets. But suddenly, another pair of tricksters, Banti and Babbli, have emerged. To imitate those new swindlers, the original Banti and Babbli return with a plan. And so, the story unfolds.

Fifteen years ago, leaving behind all the scams of the past, Rakesh, alias Banti (Saif Ali Khan), and Vimmi Tribedi, alias Babbli (Rani Mukerji), lead lives in the small town of Fursatganj, Uttar Pradesh, just like themselves. Rakesh now works as a ticket collector on the train and Vimmi has fulfilled her dream by launching the V brand clothing line (even though she copies famous fashion designer Sabyasachi's designs there too). Vimmi shines on stage in various programs of the railway colony, making her the sole entertainment of their mundane lives. This is how their carefree life goes on. Suddenly, a new wave arrives.

Recently graduated engineers Kunal (Siddhant Chaturvedi) and Sonia (Sharvari Wagh) start their business of fooling people using the B&B card. Inspector Jatayu Singh (Pankaj Tripathi), tangled in his own problems, chases them down. He seeks help from the original Banti-Babbli to catch the new Banti-Babbli.

In order to capitalize on the enduring popularity of 'Bunty Aur Babli,' the screenplay for this sequel has been thoughtfully crafted. Novice director and screenwriter Varun V Sharma have tried to infuse a lot of enthusiasm into it. However, it seems like everyone has forcefully tried to mend the broken structure. They've attempted to replicate the delicate masterpiece created by Shaad Ali but have struggled to capture its fragility. Yet, they haven't managed to keep things together till the end.

While the director has pondered over the plot in the second part, the absence of logic still prevents the story from standing firm. It appears that the emotional connection with any character fails to resonate with the audience.

Actors who have savored success, like Rani-Saif-Pankaj, are overshadowed by the frail script, and Sharvari-Siddhant's freshness takes a hit due to the script's weaknesses. Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukerji have given a distinct touch to their characters as a middle-aged couple, still displaying their chemistry that continues to charm and warm hearts. Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari Wagh have tried their best to complement Saif and Rani's magic and keep up with it.

Every song from 'Bunty Aur Babli' is still equally popular, but the sequel couldn't maintain the same standard.

Despite all the hype surrounding Bunty Aur Babli 2, it couldn't deliver the answer tucked away in the examination paper.
