Movie Summarize:

Kajal (played by Divya Bharti) falls in love with and marries the famous singer Ravi (played by Rishi Kapoor). They want to live together in marital bliss, facing the ups and downs of life. On the other hand, Ravi's greedy uncle Dhirendra Pratap (played by Amrish Puri) and his cousin (played by Mohanish Behl) are constantly scheming to get their hands on Ravi's wealth, one after the other. Initially, Asha, Ravi's cousin, attempts to assault Kajal but fails when Ravi defeats him. Consequently, Ravi's greedy uncle hires goons to murder Ravi and throws him off a mountain. Ravi's cousin also meets the same fate. Kajal's mother-in-law (played by Sushma Seth) decides to move away with her to a new city to start a new life away from the disappointment of losing her husband. In this new city, they try to forget all the painful experiences and start anew.

One day, a young man named Raja (Shah Rukh Khan) accidentally hits Kajal's mother-in-law with his motorcycle, and Kajal angrily confronts him. Raja becomes smitten with Kajal when he sees her, the same Kajal whom he had once been captivated by. He keeps following Kajal wherever she goes, and eventually, Raja falls in love with her.

Kajal's mother-in-law wants to get Kajal married to Raja, who is the president of a widows' committee. Raja loves Kajal and wants to marry her, but his father, Ramakant Shashi (Dilip Tahil), rejects the idea. Raja's father realizes that he can do a lot more for his son's happiness and makes it clear to him that he should marry Kajal.

Raja and Kajal get married. Sagar warns Raja that he shouldn't touch her until Kajal accepts him from her heart. Raja starts a garage for work. One day, Raja goes outside to test drive a jeep, but the brakes fail, and he gets into an accident. Upon hearing the news of the accident, Kajal is deeply affected, and she rushes to the hospital to take care of Raja. During this time, Kajal becomes emotionally attached to Sagar.

After Raja and Kajal's hearts unite, they spend their days happily together. One day, Raja rescues a man named Ravi from an attack by some thugs and takes him to a hospital for treatment. They become friends, and when Raja mentions that today is his wife's birthday, Ravi is shocked because it is also his wife's birthday, the same Kajal whom he had once seen and been captivated by. 

Raja invites his friend home on his wife's birthday, and Kajal is taken aback when she sees him. She wonders if Ravi is the same person she had seen before, the one who witnessed the murder of her husband and his family but had miraculously survived. However, the truth is not revealed, and Kajal continues to live with Raja. 

When Ravi's uncle learns that Ravi is alive, he attempts to have him killed to cover up their crimes, but Raja intervenes in time. Raja and Ravi together eliminate the gangsters. However, they are unaware that Kajal has been held captive somewhere. After defeating the gang, they eventually find Kajal, who has been rigged with a time bomb. Raja manages to defuse the bomb and saves Kajal. 

Raja and Kajal, united by love, bid farewell to the world forever, leaving behind a world of happiness and love.
