"Raju, the coolie of the train (played by Barun Dhawan), falls in love with Sara (played by Sara Ali Khan), who is the daughter of a wealthy hotel businessman (as shown in a previous movie). Sara's father, Geoffrey Rosario (played by Paresh Rawal), does not want her to marry anyone like Tom, Dick, or Harry; instead, he wants someone who is wealthy and enjoys 'gourmet dishes and private planes.' So, when Joy Kishan (played by Javed Jaffrey) comes in search of a suitable groom for Sara, Geoffrey insults him and calls him a broker, disrespecting him as he is unable to find anyone like them. Feeling offended by Geoffrey's behavior, Joy Kishan decides to take revenge. At the railway station, he confronts Raju and challenges him to marry Sara, and in doing so, he will also educate Geoffrey. Raju and Joy Kishan succeed in proving to Geoffrey that Raju is actually a millionaire and arrange Raju's marriage with Sara. However, it should be noted that this is just the beginning of the problems."
The sequence in David Dhawan's movie was so foolish and nonsensical that one cannot imagine how this film could end. The direction in the scenes was so appealing that it seemed Raju, the coolie, was a rich man's son, unnecessary railway stations, and suddenly saving a child on the railway track were somehow related to the movie's storyline. Barun Dhawan was made to perform some unbelievable stunts that are not at all believable.
