Facing a catastrophe, Captain Vikrant and his First Officer Tania Alburkar had to make a crucial decision to perform an emergency landing of the airplane going against certain regulations. However, this decision puts them in a confrontation with authorities. In order to revert to Copit (probably a location or scenario), they have to face the consequences. Will they be able to return to Copit again, answering all the questions posed before them? Let's delve into the story to find out!

Based on a real incident, this movie revolves around Captain Vikrant Khanna (Ajay Devgn), who is both confident and a bit daring. A few years ago, a passenger plane survived a hazardous journey from Doha to Kochi, overcoming unfavorable weather conditions.

In the movie, Captain Vikrant is portrayed as someone who can handle any problem at altitudes above 35,000 feet with ease. As usual, he prepares to fly a regular flight from Doha to Kochi, but suddenly, a mishap occurs in the middle of the sky. Despite the First Officer Tania's (Rakul Preet Singh) plea to follow standard procedures, Vikrant takes the risk of changing the flight's alternate destination to save the passengers. Just moments before landing, he sends a Mayday message to the control tower, avoiding a plane crash by a hair's breadth.

The movie's major portion is dedicated to the investigation of this incident. So far, Ajay Devgn's skillful direction and management have resulted in the best movie, "Runway 34." The visual effects in the movie are incredibly realistic. There are no unnecessary embellishments in the storyline. Thanks to Sandeep Kewlani, the cinematography is also excellent. The film depicts the events without unnecessary melodrama or false romance. Additionally, the sound and production design add another significant positive aspect to this movie.

The screen time is approximately one and a half hours of captivating entertainment. If we count the clock, it would be 2 hours and 28 minutes. However, you will never feel bored. The exceptional performances of the three main actors, Amitabh Bachchan, Boman Irani, and Ajay Devgn, add to the brilliance of this movie.

But, I won't hide any criticism. The second part of the movie could have been a bit less dramatic during the trial session. Even after the trial, some questions may arise in the audience's mind. Why didn't Captain Vikrant consider any input from the First Officer? Such questions linger.

Boman Irani's character could have been given a bit more importance, which would have been appreciated. Rakul Preet Singh has given her best shot in this movie, although Angira Dhar and Aakanksha Singh could have been given more significant roles, raising more questions in this regard.

Overall, "Runway 34" by Ajay Devgn successfully keeps the audience engaged from the beginning to the end.
