"Short Story: An aspiring director wants to make a biopic about a notorious gangster's life. He seeks the help of a friend for this task. That friend, once again, enters the profession as an actor. However, neither of them has any idea how challenging the task has become. They reach the divided village to research for the movie. From here, the story takes a different turn. The image of Bachchan Pandey is actually the Bollywood version of the Tamil movie Jigarthanda."

"Right from the beginning of the movie, an image of a village will emerge on the silver screen, where there is no law, only lawlessness prevails. The police take action when Prakash Divakar gets beaten up occasionally. And journalists are set on fire. Lawlessness is their destiny there. Among them, the most famous is Bachchan Pandey (Akshay Kumar). Maya (Krithi Shyam) is a filmmaker who wants to make a movie about him. And for that reason, she reaches the divided village along with her friend Vishnu (Arshad Warsi). Then begins a terrifying chapter."

"Bachchan Pandey's acting is quite interesting. However, in the trailer, by revealing 80% of the story, the movie's flavor has somewhat diminished. Despite the glitz and glamour, the film is packed. The shooting of the movie has taken place in North India. Although Akshay Kumar looks quite fierce in the role of Bachchan Pandey, he starts with unexpected comedy. This adds a cunning dimension to the character. Many haven't grasped the essence of this character's evolution over time."

"Akshay Kumar has put in as much effort as possible to bring the character to life. However, despite his efforts, he couldn't quite achieve it. Pankaj Tripathi as the Gujarati coach and Sanjay Mishra as Bafaria Chacha (Uncle) in the role of a coach in Bhopal are outstanding. Their punchlines are quite good. However, in the movie, there was so much chaos going on that their characters couldn't come into the spotlight."
