Movie Summarize:

Inside the veil of age, many untold stories remain hidden. Who keeps track of them? Even though her face may be veiled, she continually observes the world. What we don't know is that these stories also persist under the weight of obscurity. For those whose faces are veiled, their hearts are active. They can be kept in the eye's view. However, losing oneself in thought is inevitable, so it's accepted. Inside the veil of age, much more is born, like melodies. Just a few days ago, we came across the stories of a four-year-old girl in the movie 'Lipstick Under My Burkha'. Similarly, there's the story of another girl, a teenager named Insiya. She battles strict family rules, yearning for freedom. She's 'musically talented'.

Imagine as if melodies come riding on the wind, piercing the burkha, and carry away the tune like a whistle. Amidst the train crowd, when friends are singing item songs, inside the classroom, when Didimoni (elder sister) is deciphering chemistry formulas, when a young boy of the same age is expressing love, he's taking the girl away with his melody to a different world. In that world, he strums the guitar just like himself. The journey starts with chords, progressing, getting track-ready. He sings; it resonates not just in his throat but deep within himself. Indeed, even true musicians experience this. Melodies come to them. Just like one can feel, in an interview with A.R. Rahman, he was asked if he ever has nightmares. He said, 'If I wake up one day and don't hear any melody, that's my nightmare.' Understanding melodies is like that. Learning many songs might create the foundation for melodies, but not necessarily. Melodies must come to you. You have to wait for them, even for a dream. I remember the words of boxer Muhammad Ali, 'If your dream doesn't scare you, it's not big enough!

The dream of becoming a singing superstar for this girl is just that – enormously massive, almost like an overwhelming fear. So, anything around her can't quite touch her correctly. She aspires to unleash songs like a sapling breaking through the soil. She has to give birth to it. Therefore, she unveils her voice from behind the burkha, releasing her songs through her 'Secret Superstar' account, playing the guitar. But despite the blaze she creates, her melody spreads everywhere like a wildfire. Despite failing in exams, facing harsh criticism, and encountering bitter words, she remains unyielding. She's an entirely different person. She has a light within her that includes everything. This video opens up new opportunities before her. Music director Shakti Kumar wants to offer her a chance. This narrative unfolds this way. Even from the narrative, numerous significant ideas emerge, particularly from this movie. In the central role, Zaira Wasim delivers an incredible performance. In the roles of her parents, Meher Vij and Raj Arjun, also tear into the heart. Amir Khan seems to act over the top – or perhaps that's how he intended. He's significantly unpredictable!

When and why someone is doing what they're doing can be quite challenging to explain. A girl leaves school, bypasses to Mumbai's studios to sing songs, and returns before school vacation begins. Or a singer receives an award at a ceremony and then presents that award to another deserving artist. These kinds of overly dramatic plays can be dismissed. In such situations, the film doesn't incur any damage.

And what can't be conveyed through words will remain incomplete, that is the magic of Amit Trivedi's melodies. Ah, how beautifully all the songs are! 'Maya Kaun Hoon', 'Sapne Re', 'I Will Miss You' – almost all of the songs, around a dozen, are wonderful. It's like an album that has been preserved. In the movie 'Bombay Velvet', his excellently crafted songs for the character of a Goan jazz singer got lost as the film flopped. Probably, that regret won't exist in this movie.

Therefore, let the girl immerse herself in her dreams. Let her eyes light up and the song begin. In front of a thousand spectators, the LED lights up. The sound rises with a subtle hum, a few thousand watts of sound. The rhythm returns. Dreams live on.
