Movie Summarize:

When the topic of the 'race' franchise comes up, it brings to mind some mischievous people, high-speed cars, even faster girls than those cars, flashy foreign locations, a snapshot of a beautiful dance floor, and a twist in the tale of suspense, possibly with one or two big surprises. However, the determination of the quality of these images depends on the strength of the cinematic performance, not just these elements.

The problem with 'Race 3' is that it couldn't meet the demands of either of its two requirements. This movie of two and a half hours can feel like a headache. Salman Khan might show his miraculous skills on screen, but apart from waiting for that, there's not much else for you to do. Saying that it doesn't feel good to be constantly disappointed is an understatement, yet there's no way around it – you're compelled to be utterly bored in the remaining parts of the movie without Salman and his lover's action.

When the first installment of 'Race' was released in 2008, audiences truly discovered something new. Bollywood's leading actors were seen in roles that were truly morally ambiguous, and those who needed to keep their ethical awareness intact didn't grasp it. Nowadays, modern audiences aren't particularly taken aback by merely a villainous or unethical character. However, in the main characters of the movie, whether they are greedy, immoral, corrupt, or without reason (like a terminally ill mother or an unmarried sister), none of these factors deter the viewers. Prior to 'Race,' no one had seen such a substantial portrayal in a Hindi film.

Abbas-Mustan, the directors of the 'Race' series, knew when to bring astonishment through acting and when to break the tension with a song. However, this formula has now become somewhat stale, so by adhering to that same rule, the story of 'Race 3' ended up being a mediocre form of entertainment.

'Race 3' is nothing more than a car explosion, the unjust presence of many wooden characters, and a blend of weak, loose dialogues. The very character that should evoke emotions suffers from extremely poor use of words. What can one say about a movie that can't even utilize an actor like Anil Kapoor effectively? It seems Kapoor is the only lifeline on a sinking ship.

In the movie, the rest of the cast, even Bobby Deol, stand as mere props, a collection of cardboard cutouts. Each male character is muscle-bound, while the women merely fit into one stereotypical role. Daisy Shah gradually switches between wooden expressions and then strikes a fierce pose during fight sequences. Jacqueline has improved, having received more screen time compared to 'Race 2,' whether it's more or less, who knows! Once again, her dialogue delivery is somewhat subdued, easy to notice!

The entire movie feels like it's been dragged along on a tortoise's pace. So don't expect to be thrilled at the end. Salman Khan's efforts have also fallen short. Can a lone horse pull a cart? Bhaijan (brother) has realized it seems. Even the shirtless Salman couldn't capture the audience. And there was Bobby Deol beside him, going shirtless in this category as well. Oh my, in this section, Bhaijan giving Bobby a dressing down is just impossible. Bhaijan seems to have exclaimed at Bobby, "No way!
