Movie Summarize:

2020 means adversity. Every country in the world was trembling with the fever of COVID at that time. The urgency of survival was evident in everyone. Following the public curfew, the Indian government had suddenly declared a lockdown, which gave rise to a crisis. No one knew the duration of the lockdown. Therefore, uncertainty was felt by everyone. The worst situation was observed at the border.

The borders of all the states in the country were closed. As a result, millions of migrant workers couldn't return home. It was as if they had become stranded inhabitants of a no man's land right in front of their own cities. Their struggle has been captured on the silver screen by the experience lioness.

The crowded image was created during the COVID era. At that time, the nation's social disparities had become evident. The director has portrayed the harsh reality as well. The entire image is in black and white. Because, during the time of the pandemic, color had faded away from everyone's life.

In this picture, Rajkumar Rao is seen in the role of a police officer named Surya. He shoulders the responsibility of keeping migrant workers stranded at the state borders. He is an honest police officer. He himself belongs to a minority community. Slowly, he is progressing.

However, at a certain point, he himself witnesses the ugly face of society and becomes fearful. The stranded migrant workers sitting at the border are trying to find a glimmer of hope. But seeing that the government isn't making any announcements for them, even Surya is left astonished.

On this side, due to the fear of an unknown virus, the migrant workers are unable to eat. They are beginning to distrust each other. Eventually, everyone is trembling with the fear of death. They all want to survive at any cost. As a result, a battleground is formed at the state borders.

Amidst this, a wealthy woman (Dia Mirza) is striving to bring back her daughter from another state and is attempting to cross the border of Uttar Pradesh. Her struggle is also depicted in the film.

The film revolves around the small incidents during the COVID era. A girl is trying to bring her drug-addicted father back home on a bicycle.

Amidst the pandemic, a doctor (played by Bhumi Pednekar) is trying to save a patient. A journalist (Krystle D'Souza) is also shown in the film, portraying how she is fighting on the frontlines to present news.

Rajkumar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Krystle D'Souza, and Dia Mirza have delivered impeccable performances. Anubhav Sinha's direction is also remarkable.
