Movie Summarize:

A mysterious hacker (Aliya Bhatt) has taken hold of the Heart. Driven by revenge, she aims to create chaos in the world. Rachel (Gal Gadot) has set out alongside her partner Sathirtho Parker to track down the hacker. However, the story's roots delve deep. Right from the beginning of Heart of Stone, it will be evident that someone is trying hard to keep the truth concealed.

However, politics and an agency rising above the nation for global peacekeeping isn't something new for the audience. Even before this, Citadel or Mission Impossible have tackled the same subject. As a result, Heart of Stone feels like an old wine in a new bottle.

Now the question arises, even though the content is somewhat familiar, is the storytelling style different? In some cases, the narrative is indeed distinct. There are sufficient stunts in the movie as well. However, there isn't a strong pull to captivate the audience in the film directed by Tom Harper. The film begins with a chase sequence that instantly engages the viewers, creating excitement. The background music enhances that chase sequence. Although the story's pacing gets a bit too fast at times, the plot's structure suffers. The chemistry among the three main characters is noteworthy. As much as tension is essential in a spy thriller, it's lacking in this movie. Tom Harper has attempted to infuse emotion into the movie's dialogues, but their delivery isn't quite effective.

Now let's move on to the acting aspect. Gal Gadot has displayed fantastic acting and stunts in the movie. It can be said that she took the responsibility of carrying the entire film on her shoulders. The acting of Jamie Dornan isn't particularly noteworthy. Heart of Stone marks Aliya Bhatt's first Hollywood movie. Consequently, she had a lot riding on her. Although she exudes confidence in Bollywood, it's not quite the same in Hollywood. She is seen in the role of Keira Daven, a 22-year-old thief. In this case, Aliya has delivered a moderate performance. Her dialogue delivery is like that of a newcomer. Director Tom and Aliya could have utilized exceptional actors like themselves a bit more.

Over the past year, several action thrillers have been released. Heart of Stone doesn't stand out among those movies. The characters' backstories couldn't engage the audience in the desired way. Fans of Gal Gadot can definitely watch Heart of Stone, as she truly excels in the film. The Israeli beauty demonstrates her ability to match Tom Cruise's intensity or hold her ground in a partnership with him. However, fans of Alia Bhatt or Jamie Dornan might be disappointed after watching this movie.
