Movie Summarize:

Rinku Suryabanshi (Sara Ali Khan) unexpectedly marries V. Venkatesh Vishwanath Ayyar, also known as Vishnu (Dhanush). Vishnu studies medicine in Tamil Nadu. However, Rinku prefers the magician Sajjad Ali Khan (Akshay Kumar). Although initially the film "Atarangi Re" seems like a love story with five triangles, various twists and turns are present in the story.

Rinku has left home for the sake of love. The story begins in such a circumstance. A few people have tried to stop her. However, Rinku is not weak or helpless. Instead, her determination is strong. She can face any situation. Rinku's sister (Seema Biswas) is extremely strict. But Rinku didn't leave home to escape her control; she left in pursuit of love's freedom. Upon learning of the situation, Rinku's sister starts looking for the crazy lover of her niece. Although Rinku is upset about someone finding out about the matter, it eventually reaches her sister's ears. She instructs that anyone from outside the village be brought to marry Rinku.

On the other hand, Vishnu had firmly decided to marry his lover Mandy, also known as Mandakini. Mandy is the daughter of the college president. However, due to the twists of fate, Vishnu ends up marrying Rinku. The chemistry between Sara Ali Khan and Dhanush is quite captivating. 

Director Anand El Rai and playwright Himanshu Sharma have brought together two distinct characters at a single point. Each protagonist's character is separate from the other's. It is said that they are inhabitants of different islands. However, in real life, they stand face to face with each other. 

The movie's concept is unique and a bit intricate. As a result, bringing it to the screen isn't an easy task. However, Anand L. Rai has a knack for easily translating any story onto the screen. This time too, he hasn't deviated from his norm. The movie is quite intellectually stimulating. Nevertheless, if the foundation of Himanshu's story were a bit stronger and crisper, the movie could have taken another step forward.

In this film, songs have been used as necessary for the storyline. A.R. Rahman's melodies are exceptional. Already, the song 'Chaka Chak' has become a viewer's favorite, which is definitely a strong point of the movie. The director has employed a twist at the end of the film that adds a special touch to "Atarangi Re".
