Movie Summarize:

Gangster Vedha has been assigned the responsibility of finding and killing Betal, given to the top officer of the Lucknow Police's Special Task Force, Officer Vikram. However, Vedha surrenders himself to the Betal Police.

During the interrogation, he starts narrating stories to Vikram, gradually leading to a transformation in Vikram's personal perception about their complex relationship. The storytelling and contemplation of emotions in the movie are quite good. The director duo has beautifully woven all the characters, both major and minor, into the fabric of the engaging story. The two main characters of the film, Vikram and Vedha, were being skillfully advanced. However, somewhere along the way, it seems to lose its rhythm and poetic charm.

Directors Gayatri and Pushkar have attempted to bring various shades to the characters of Vikram and Vedha. They have blended action sequences with Vedha's affection for Raj Kapoor's songs in this movie. The subtle contemplation of the South Indian director duo has been appreciated by the audience. The pace of the story was consistently engaging. However, the character portrayal, similar to Parashuram Vaidya's, couldn't be executed as effectively by Gayatri and Pushkar. If you think that by the end of the film, this character will meet its resolution, then you are completely mistaken.

In the film, it would have been better if the directors focused a little more on the love between Chanda and Satya. It would have been beneficial to pay a bit more attention to how Vedha becomes so powerful in the film. Alongside that, if the director duo had delved a bit deeper into Vikram's character, it would have been good. The directors didn't deviate much from the roadmap. That's a good decision. However, they didn't experiment much with other aspects that could have helped enhance the overall quality of the movie.

Bollywood's versatile actor Saif Ali Khan portrayed the character of an honest police officer. His acting on screen won't be perceived as bad by the audience. However, it needed a bit more refinement. Radhika Apte's portrayal of Saif's wife character is overall not disappointing. Viewers have praised Hrithik's acting in the role of Vikram. Even though he acted as a gangster, the audience has quite enjoyed the intensity he brought to the character.
