Movie Summarize:

During the Liberation War of 1971, the residents of Madhapar in Bhuj narrate the tale of the sacrifice of 300 Gujarati women. Simultaneously, Bhuj tells the extraordinary story of Indian Air Force Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik (Ajay Devgn), an indomitable real-life superhero whose unparalleled love for his country and unmatched courage mobilized 300 women from the village to reconstruct the completely devastated Airbase after a Pakistani bombing, ensuring India's victory. This incredibly poignant movie, lasting one hour and fifty-three minutes, encapsulates the valor of that very soldier.

Bhuj: The Pride of India doesn't miss the mark. When it comes to such occasions, one must say that films like Bhuj, made in Bollywood, pay tribute to the patriotism of the nation, much like recent blockbusters from across the border. The direction and acting responsibilities of the film were in the hands of Abhishek Dudhaiya. In an attempt to uplift patriotism, the film plays a strong emotional game in the mud of logic. Just as the excessive use of spices can overpower the taste of a dish, in the realm of acting, the overdose of emotions has somewhat overshadowed the dish. While the film starts with a war story, it loses its footing almost immediately with a hurried pace. The foundation of the main characters of the original story is lost in the background. The highly dramatic patriotic dialogues fall flat due to overuse, leaving much to be desired in many places. Although sometimes it manages to capture attention, in most cases, it falls flat. However, the heart is touched by the scenes of war. The relentless rain of bombs, the attack of Pakistani planes. The image of thousands of soldiers' bodies burned in the blazing pyres. Their faces washed in the waters of the canal, changing from water to blood. The shortcomings of the first part have been overcome in this film's second part. Audiences are rewarded with a gripping thriller immersed in the scent of war. Even though the VFX isn't top-notch, it doesn't feel bad to watch.

Ajay Devgn's acting adds substantial value. Devgn's trademark scenes were present in this film as well. Apart from many days, this film featured Sonakshi Sinha. On one hand, a child of milk on one side, and the responsibility towards the motherland on the other. When talking about 'Ghaw Khi Chhori,' Sonakshi's role comes into view again. However, it must be said that Nora Fatehi's story stands apart. In Nora's graceful dance, mesmerized audiences will find an entirely different Nora in this film. Nevertheless, despite the incorporation of dance, Delhi is still a distant place in terms of acting. There's nothing new to say about Sanjay Dutt. The best pick for his character is Sanju Baba, representing his character's persona perfectly. After a dose of family drama, Sharad Kelkar's captivating performance is also seen in this film.

Before Independence Day, this film, brimming with patriotism, is Bollywood's gift to the audience. While Bollywood has made films about the Kargil to Uri strike, this is the first film dedicated to the valor of the Indian Air Force in the Bhuj contribution during the Liberation War. Therefore, on the eve of Independence Day, forgetting the remaining shortcomings and immersing oneself in the story, this film is undoubtedly a one-time must-watch for the audience.
